SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Chief Executive Officer is the most executive level administrative position with responsibility to execute the Strategic Plan established by the Board of Directors throughout ANHC. The CEO strives to ensure the long-term success of ANHC through effective financial, personnel, and management strategies. This position is responsible for all clinical and financial operations of ANHC and includes the authority to oversee all aspects of health care delivery including planning, resource allocation, growth and development, regulatory compliance, quality, efficiency and the implementation of strategic initiatives approved by the Board of Directors. This is a full-time position and is directly accountable to the ANHC Board of Directors.

The CEO leads several executive level positions (Finance, Human Resources, Communications & Development, Dental, Medical, Operations), and is expected to create a mission-centric work environment for all ANHC staff.

WORK EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years’ experience in the following:  Public Health or Health Services Administration, Personnel Supervision, business development, healthcare operations development and implementation of a complex health center. At least three years’ experience in a leadership role.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: Bachelors degree required. Graduate degree preferred in one of the following fields:  Administration, Public Health or Healthcare.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of principles of management, administration and supervision, medical clinic operations. Skilled in training and developing paraprofessional and professional staff. Demonstrates commitment to continued professional growth and development. Ability to convey a professional and positive image and attitude regarding the health center. Ability to work effectively with other medical staff, patients and subordinates. Ability to analyze operations to revise them for more efficiency. Strong management and health care background, a positive management style, and experience in governmental grants management.
