Description

Prepare and post journal entries to general ledger.
-
Review, approve and post accounts receivable and accounts payable entries.

Prepare reports of expenditures, encumbrances, receipts and receivables as requested.

Review, research and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports.
-
Complete monthly bank account reconciliations.
-
Audit and reconcile monthly purchase card activity.
-
Assist with annual audit preparation and audit requests.
-
Assist with preparation of grant financial reports as needed.
-
Assist with grant management and reporting.
-
Assist with monitoring grant expenditures against budgets.
-
Comply with generally accepted accounting principles and organizational financial policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting (preferred) or business from a four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training. Excellent internal customer service and communication skills. Strong planning and organization skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
