Together with Alaska’s Community Health Centers, the Alaska Primary Care Association’s (APCA) Government Affairs team provides education that supports health policy initiatives at both the state and national levels.

WHAT WE DO
- Provide education on Community Health Centers and Alaska’s healthcare safety net.
- Collaborate with Community Health Centers to identify annual policy priorities.
- Coordinate state and national opportunities for Community Health Center staff to engage with policymakers.
- Partner with state and federal agencies, legislators, and healthcare organizations.
- Support efforts that strengthen access to care, whole-person care, and Alaska’s healthcare workforce.
