APCA’s Pre-Apprenticeship Training in Healthcare (PATH) is a free, two-week program for Alaskans ages 18 and older who want to explore healthcare careers, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for future training or employment.
When: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Training Format:
- Week 1 – In Person (Mat-Su Valley): Earn CPR certification, participate in Mental Health First Aid training, and complete job-readiness workshops.
- Week 2 – Virtual: Continue your learning online with interactive sessions focused on healthcare pathways and employment connections.
Participants must attend both weeks to complete the program.
