The Alaska Primary Care Association invites Alaska’s Community Health Workers (CHWs) to participate in a free, full-day, in-person CHW Empowerment Workshop in Anchorage, on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join your peers to explore cultural sensitivity, your role in oral health care, and practice related motivational interviewing techniques. Hear from special guest speaker Lisa Renee Holderby-Fox, a national leader in the CHW movement.
