Level Up Your Healthcare Career as a Community Health Worker (CHW)
Community Health Workers (CHWs) positively affect their communities as they serve as liaisons between healthcare services and the community. They advocate for change and cultural competency of services delivered, as well as improving access to quality care.
CHWs also build individual and community capacity by increasing health knowledge and self-sufficiency through a range of activities such as outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support, and advocacy.
